David lives in the north of Glasgow and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has been with RI since 2009 on secondment from Inverclyde Council where he worked as a surveyor since 2000 managing the Council's non operational portfolio of shops, offices and industrial units. With his surveying background, David is responsible for managing RI's property portfolio, (Clyde View, Victoria House, Ladyburn Business Centre, Lyle House, Lynedoch Industrial Estate and Drumfrochar Industrial Estate) to ensure that the opportunities from ownership of these properties are maximised.
David has studied for a number of qualifications over the years, most recently completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Local Economic Development at Glasgow University, and feels that working for RI is assisting him to both build upon his previous experience and also to develop the skills he has gained academically.
Away from work David enjoys walking, sea fishing and watching his favourite football team win trophies.
