George Hunter has an MSc in Economic Development and over 17 years experience of physical and economic regeneration across Scotland.
George's current role as Head of Operations focuses on leading the Operational Team in the promotion of Inverclyde as a competitive location - attracting developers and investors to undertake the expansion and diversification of the area's business and commercial space. George also deals with day to day team and operational matters concerning the 7 priority geographies for Riverside Inverclyde.
Specific projects that George is responsible for advancing include leading on the progression of a Limited Liability Partnership with Peel, the redevelopment of the iconic Sugar Warehouse and the ongoing development proposals for the Victoria and East India Harbours, including the new Greenock Arts Theatre.
George is married, with three children. His hobbies include gym training, cycling and playing the guitar.
