Balmore Group announce relocation to Inverclyde


 

Riverside Inverclyde (ri) is delighted to announce Balmore Group Scotland, a leading specialist in industrial services, building maintenance and UAV inspection and surveying is relocating to Inverclyde. The Balmore Group Scotland offer expertise of over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry and in particular high aspect/ difficult access works, roofing, industrial/ biohazard cleaning and now, drone inspection services.

Balmore will temporarily move into two suites at ri’s Business Centre within Gourock Municipal Buildings, before relocating into 2,239 sq ft at Kelburn Business Park in Port Glasgow later this year, upon completion of its fit out.                                                                                                     

As a multi-service construction company, Balmore offer experience in commercial, industrial and private contracts and are approved contractors for the installation of Decothane and Hyperdesmo seamless roofing systems.

Prioritising Health and Safety, the Balmore directors have invested in the latest technology to offer safe, efficient and cost effective inspections and high level works. Balmore rope access technicians are highly qualified and IRATA trained to work in even the most difficult of environments and their UAV pilots are CAA trained and approved.

In June 2017, the Balmore Group was a commercial partner to the hugely successful P1 Grand Prix of the Sea Powerboat event in Greenock.

Riverside Inverclyde completed the construction of the shell units at Kelburn Business Park in 2015 and over the last couple of years has undertaken a series of fit out works to meet the demand. They offer potential for units from 2,100 to 15,564 square feet for light industrial and business use.

The Balmore Group join anchor tenant Weir & McClafferty Dental Care in the Grade C listed building at Gourock Municipal Buildings, which also houses the civil engineering start-up Leapmoor LLP and the Gourock Heritage Centre, which is in development.

Internal fit out works in Blocks C and D at Kelburn Business Park is due to begin shortly and Balmore Group join Union Projects, The Devlin Group, The New Chocolate Company and Coatweld at the Business Park, with further positive interest in the site being progressed.

Riverside Inverclyde will be turning its attention to filling the last remaining 195 sq ft suite at Gourock Municipal Buildings and the remaining vacant space at Kelburn Business Park.
