Fay Rogers
Following a period of study at Glasgow University where she obtained a BSc in Physics and Radio, Fay started her career at the Patent Office, London sitting further examinations and qualifying as an Administrative Civil Servant.
Returning to Glasgow to study medicine she specialised in Anaesthesia in Glasgow and Greenock until her retirement 35 years later. Fay is a former Person of Work Association Representative and former member of the British Medical Association in both London and Glasgow.
A member, and former Board member, of Soroptimist International, a worldwide organisation for women in management and professions to advance the status of women, Fay is also a member of the Inverclyde Association of Women Graduates.
As a member of Gourock Community Council for the past 25 years, it is Fay's intention to remain an active member for the community of Inverclyde.
