Peter Bennett

Finance Manager

A resident of Inverclyde all his life, Peter is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience of general management in industry. Since qualifying in 1977 he has worked in industrial situations as financal director with family owned SMEs in the electronics and packaging sector and is now self-employed and fulfilling part-time finance manager roles in two URCs and one business in the electronics sector.

With wide ranging experience of all commercial matters and recent experience gained working with Clydebank Re-built Ltd, an Urban Regeneration Company, Peter feels sharing of good and bad experiences encountered on the other side of the River Clyde can only be to Riverside Inverclyde's long-term advantage.

When family commitments allow loyalty to local causes in leisure time is demonstrated with life-long support of Greenock Morton FC and involvement in local Scouting.
