Clyde View: New Quality Office Accommodation Open for Business in InverclydeIn its latest milestone development, Greenock-based urban regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde (ri) now has Clyde View available for occupation, a state-of-the-art new office building offering 20,697 sq ft of accommodation subdivided into a range of different-sized suites which can be readily divided to form private offices and meeting rooms.
This two-storey building is the keystone attraction of Riverside Business Park, a high profile, prominent location of just under 2 hectares, situated within the Ladyburn area of east Greenock and developed at a cost of £5.5m.
Building and developing Riverside Business Park and Clyde View have already brought much-needed construction jobs to Inverclyde, and the overall project now has the capacity to provide up to 150 permanent jobs. Uniquely for the area, it makes high quality office accommodation available, will also attract investment, and encourage indigenous company growth.
Riverside Business Park is strategically located, overlooking the main A8 transport corridor into Inverclyde, and also adjacent to the area's main railway link and local stations. It is easily reached from Glasgow through good transport links – mostly the M8 motorway, and is just 14 miles from Glasgow International Airport. It is also within easy distance of Greenock Town Centre and all the amenities available there.
Clyde View has been developed to modern-day standards, providing accommodation that is comfortable, safe and as environmentally-friendly as possible. The business suites within it all have open plan design. Features include:
- Gas central heating in each suite
- Raised access floor throughout
- Floor boxes and wiring for power
- Metal suspended ceilings with recessed LG3 lighting
- High quality carpets and blinds.
The building has a video controlled door entry system and a full security system, as well as dedicated tea preparation areas; male, female and disabled toilets on each floor; and a shower and drying area on each floor. There are 90 car parking spaces with the available suites.
For potential occupiers, there will be complete flexibility in the size of suites available as well as a customer-friendly approach to the length of lease terms being offered.
Bill Nicol is Chief Executive of Riverside Inverclyde, and he says, “we are delighted to have reached this stage with one of our major projects. Even in the current climate, our research shows that there is real demand for high quality office accommodation in our area, and that is exactly what we are providing here”.
“I am sure that Riverside Business Park will be successful in providing jobs locally and helping businesses to prosper. Now that they are complete, Clyde View and Riverside Business Park have become visible symbols of the new sense of purpose that is being built in this area. Projects like these are bringing new energy and confidence to the communities and businesses of Inverclyde”.
