Jack Paton

Jack Paton retired from British Polythene Industries (BPI) PLC in 2002, where he worked for 30 years, in the positions of a Main Board Director and Operations Managing Director.

At its peak, BPI employed 5000 people in 11 countries, with a £500m turnover. Jack was involved in the sale and marketing of polythene packaging materials, however, latterly, this extended into general management and acquisition strategy.
Jack is Chairman of the Inverclyde Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust. He leads a team of 14 volunteer panel members and 10 aftercare volunteers who provide invaluable advice and support to any young person looking to set up, run or expand their own business.
In his free time, Jack enjoys golf and DIY.
