Ambitious Inverclyde business people keen to become more successful and competitive, can learn from one of Scotland’s most entrepreneurial businessmen when Entrepreneurial Scotland holds its second event in the region.
Following the success of the first event with Jim McColl OBE in August 2018, Andy Lothian, Chief Executive of Insights - the global leader in learning and development - will be hosting an event on 6 November 2018 in Greenock.
Organised by Entrepreneurial Scotland, Scotland’s leading membership network, and in partnership with Riverside Inverclyde, the event promises to be inspirational for entrepreneurially minded individuals.
Over 20 years ago, Andy was working in banking in London, and knew that he wanted to come back to his hometown of Dundee. Just about the same time, his father Andi was considering his next venture, and so together they established Insights. They haven't looked back, and are extremely proud that their now-global business still has its roots in Scotland. Contributing to the local economy means everything to Andy, and he can't wait to see what the next 20 years will bring.
Andy's purpose at Insights is to create a world where people truly understand themselves and others and are inspired to make a positive difference in everything they do.
With Andy at the helm, Insights has become a global brand with a presence in over 40 countries around the world, and ambitious growth plans to come
Andrew Bowman, Head of Business Investment and Operations with Riverside Inverclyde, said:
“Riverside Inverclyde is delighted to continue its partnership with Entrepreneurial Scotland to further showcase Inverclyde as the place for businesses to flourish.
“We’d like to thank Andy for choosing Greenock to share his entrepreneurial journey. The previous event with Jim McColl was one of the most successful events we've held to date and we are sure this event will support further entrepreneurial growth within our business community.”
