Custom House FSB Event Success
A networking event at the newly-refurbished Custom House hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde was a huge success, attended by more than 60 businesses from Inverclyde and beyond.
The event aimed to showcase the Greenock building which has been transformed into high-quality business units after a five-year, £5.2million renovation project by Riverside Inverclyde.
The A-listed historic building in the heart of Greenock, already the home of local and international businesses, is looking for a new tenant for its flagship 4,000 sq ft Long Room.
Andrew Bowman, Head of Business Investment and Operations at Riverside Inverclyde, said:
“Thank you to all of the businesses from Inverclyde and beyond that attended this fantastic inaugural event. The event clearly showed the desire and interest in Inverclyde as an area to do business and for quality networking opportunities. We look forward to further building our relationship with FSB and supporting both local and national businesses looking to operate in Inverclyde."
Hisashi Kuboyama, FSB’s development manager, said:
“I am grateful to everyone involved and those who attended our event. It was great to see so many businesses coming along. A lot of people expressed their interest in future events like this, so we plan to host another business event in Inverclyde soon.”
