Taste Inverclyde’s launch of its food market ‘Taste Tent’ at Gourock Highland Games has been hailed as a great success by the local traders and visitors. With the weather supporting a huge turnout on Sunday 13 May 2018, the Taste Tent proved to be a popular addition to the Games which were held at the Battery Park in Greenock.

Three residential developments, made up of a total of 64 houses and flats, have been given the go-ahead by Inverclyde Council planners. The biggest involves the site of the former Highlanders' Academy in Greenock.
