Small Business Saturday UK brought a stage of its national bus tour to Inverclyde last week.
Riverside Inverclyde has teamed up with Small Business Saturday UK to help support and promote small local firms ahead of this years event in December.
Kempock Street in Gourock was one of 30 locations that the bus is stopping at over the next 25 days, and one of only 4 locations in Scotland.
The bus tour is part of the countdown to Small Business Saturday taking place on 1 December 2018.
It follows the launch of the UK's Small Biz 100, a celebration of the top small businesses from across the UK - which includes Greenock-based social enterprise - Trade Right International. They were chosen from thousands for their social business model, fair trade ethics and Shea Butter skincare range - Carishea.
Denice Gregory from Trade Right International paid a visit to the bus during its stay in Inverclyde with her grandson Fox.
Andrew Bowman, Head of Business Investment at Riverside Inverclyde said:
"It was fantastic to welcome the Small Business Saturday (SBS) UK bus to Gourock and Inverclyde as part of its UK tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our short time with Tom Flynn and his team at SBS.
"With the majority of the tour focused around cities across the UK, it was a great achievement to get Gourock and Inverclyde this recognition on a national platform.
"SBS is there to support local businesses and I'd encourage all small Inverclyde traders to take the time to consider the support that SBS can provide ahead of the day itself on 1 December 2018."
