Riverside Inverclyde (Ri), the organisation delivering the economic redevelopment of Inverclyde, has welcomed Zenit Contracts to 2,200 square foot premises at Kelburn Business Park in Port Glasgow.
Zenit, which specialises in roofing and fit-out works, has leased the premises for a period of five years, relocating from its previous Renfrewshire headquarters in Paisley.
The business employs six people, including two roofers from Port Glasgow and takes responsibility for the unit which was previously home to Union Projects.
Raymond Allan, Managing Director of Zenit Contracts, said:
“When this highly-visible unit became available we were quick to move to secure the premises. As a result of the expansion, we have been able to expand our employee base and successfully pick up new contracts across the west coast of Scotland.”
"We have been delighted by the support we have received from Ri with the move to Kelburn Business Park which has helped to facilitate the next phase of growth for the business.
Zenit is the latest in a line of new tenancies for Ri at Kelburn Business Park in 2018, which includes Peak Scientific, The Balmore Group, On-Site Scanning, Nutcrafter Creamery and The Start-Up Drink’s Lab amongst others.
Andrew Bowman, head of business investment at Ri said:
“We are delighted to welcome Zenit Contracts to Inverclyde and Kelburn Business Park, adding to the rich variety of businesses which are now operating from Port Glasgow.
"Zenit joins a growing list of exciting businesses focused on success and growth in 2019 and beyond at Kelburn. We wish Raymond and his team a warm Inverclyde welcome and continued success."
Kelburn Business Park has one remaining 15k sq ft unit available, and Ri is currently in discussions with interested parties.
